According to data of June 30, 2023, the Institute of Baltic Region History and Archaeology employs 44 persons. Their positions at the Institute are funded from the state allocations, national and international research projects and commissions received for archaeological excavation work.
The staff of the Institute includes 30 researchers. Most of them are PhD holders. All researchers at the Institute pursue joint and/or individual research projects, thus implementing the goals and objectives of the Institute’s long-term research programmes.
