Acta Historica Universitatis Klaipedensis

Acta Historica Universitatis Klaipedensis (ISSN 1392-4095 print, ISSN 2351-6526 online) is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Institute of Baltic Region History and Archaeology of Klaipėda University.

Established in 1993, it constitutes an international forum for historical research in the south and east Baltic region, covering a broad range of historical, political, cultural and social approaches.

Each volume contains thematically related articles dealing with the history of the south and east Baltic region from the Middle Ages to the present day, book reviews, and source publications followed by professional commentary.

Articles are indexed and/or abstracted by: Clarivate Web of Science: Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI); Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ); EBSCO Central & Eastern European Academic Source; EBSCO Historical Abstracts, Historical Abstracts with Full Texts, and Historical Abstracts with Full Text Alumni Edition; Elsevier Scopus; Lituanistika. Acta Historica Universitatis Klaipedensis is included in the European Reference Index for the Humanities and the Social Sciences (ERIH PLUS) and the Ulrich’s Periodicals Directory.
