Works of KU students – in "Tutoring Gedanensis" magazine

We are thrilled to announce the recent work that was published in Tutoring Gedanensis that is curated by University of Gdansk (Poland). The journal (ISSN 2451-1862) publishes texts by Students that were prepared during tutoring meetings and texts that are a collection of tutoring experiences by Academic Teachers. The paper is co-authored by Klaipeda University, Biology and Marine biotechnology bachelor's students and University of Gdansk and Marine Research Institute members (dr. Anna Toruńska-Sitarz and dr. Donata Overlingė), focusing on the role of microorganisms in marine biotechnology. 

During the given task, students had to prepare infographics on various topics related to the use of microorganisms in biotechnology.  The paper highlights the use of marine microorganisms in various applications, such as pharmacy, human health, green chemistry, astrobiology, and others. During this task students contributed significantly to this work, showcasing their ability to broaden their Marine biotechnology competence development, creativity using different tools to present their work, group cooperation, capacity to focus on the most important facts of scientific material.
