Dear pupils and students, teachers and lecturers, parents, alumni, and all who hold knowledge and the future close to their hearts,
I warmly congratulate you on September 1st – a meaningful new beginning, when we open the doors of classrooms, laboratories, and libraries, and at the same time, the horizons of our own opportunities. I invite you not only to accomplish what is necessary but also to ignite the daily spark of knowledge – curiosity, consistent effort, and togetherness.
Knowledge truly gains power when it is transformed into action and shared with others. Let us think critically, create together, and bravely accept challenges as a springboard for growth – from the very first question to tangible results.
This year, Klaipeda University celebrates its 35th anniversary. We mark this jubilee together with all those who contribute to progress through their daily work, mutual trust, and a sense of community that unites people and ideas. My sincere thanks to each of you – pupils and students, teachers and lecturers, researchers, parents, and partners.
Today we light the symbolic spark of a new academic year. May it not be extinguished by the first tasks or challenges – may it continue to glow, strengthening your determination, uniting you, and inspiring you to grow and excel.
