Progress Internship
We are looking for a bright, enthusiastic person to join our Progress team. As a developer, You will be part of a software development team that works on financial services, ERP, or government management systems. You will work with experienced developers, managers, QA engineers, and help our clients to improve their products. If You are passionate about learning new technologies and solving complex problems, this could be an excellent career move for You!
What you will do?
During internship program:
• Duration: 2 months (starts on February)
• During the first month, you will participate in extensive training on getting you up to speed with the ways our teamwork and technologies used within
• During the second month, you and your fellow newcomers will perform a real-world hands-on practical exercise
• Main objectives:
• Learn all the basics of Progress OpenEdge programming language
• Get familiar with programming and its patterns, system design, automated testing, CI/CD and how to use it, working in a team, and much more!
• Gain practical experience on working in a team
After the internship, You will:
• Become part of a real project team
• Be curated by a mentor and start working shoulder to shoulder with your new experienced colleagues
• Assist colleagues with all aspects of software design and coding
• Solve problems related to performance and system reliability
• Closely cooperate with multiple stakeholders
What we expect from you?
• Basic knowledge of coding languages (C++/Java/.Net or any of your choice)
• Understanding of codebase, including system design techniques
• Good problem-solving and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly
• Fluent English and Lithuanian language skills
• Solid work ethic, self-driven with the ability to work with minimal supervision

• Monthly salary from 420 EUR (Gross)
After internship:
• Ability to work from a different location – we have 3 offices (2 in Vilnius and 1 in Kaunas), possibility to work remotely
