Archaeologia Baltica (ISSN 1392-5520), an international annual peer-reviewed serial publication published by the Institute of Baltic Region History and Archaeology of Klaipeda University. The journal is published in English and is open to articles on all aspects of European archaeology, especially topics relevant to Baltic Archaeology.
All articles are provided with short summaries in Lithuanian.
All papers to be published in the journal are peer-reviewed internationally.
The first five volumes of the series (1995-2006) were published by the Lithuanian Institute of History (Vilnius). In 2006-2011, the Institute of Baltic Region History and Archaeology published them in collaboration with the Lithuanian Institute of History, but as of 2011 the Institute of Baltic Region History and Archaeology alone publishes this journal.
Since 2007 articles published in Archaeologia Baltica series are indexed in EBSCO Publishing Central & Eastern European Academic Source. The series are indexed in the European Reference Index for the Humanities and the Social Sciences (ERIH PLUS).
