Acta Historica Universitatis KlaipedensisActa Historica Universitatis Klaipedensis (ISSN 1392-4095 print, ISSN 2351-6526 online) is an international biannual, peer-reviewed serial publication published from 1993 by the Centre for West Lithuanian and Prussian History, and from 2003 by the Institute of Baltic Region History and Archaeology of Klaipėda University. Volumes in the series contain thematically related articles dealing with the history of the south and east Baltic region from the Middle Ages to the present day. Special attention is paid to relations between neighbouring (German, Polish, Lithuanian, Russian and other) cultures. The volumes may contain reviews and source publications equipped with professional commentaries.

Volumes of the series are indexed/abstracted in the EBSCO Central & Eastern European Academic Source; EBSCO Historical Abstracts and Historical Abstracts with Full Texts. Acta Historica Universitatis Klaipedensis is included in the European Reference Index for the Humanities and the Social Sciences (ERIH PLUS).

The Editors-in-Chief of the series: Doc Dr hab. Alvydas Nikžentaitis (1993-2001), Prof Dr hab. Vladas Žulkus (2003-2006), Doc Dr Silva Pocytė (2006-2013), Dr Vasilijus Safronovas (since 2013).

Since 2019, the Editorial Team operates the series on a daily basis. Dr Vytautas Jokubauskas, Doc Dr Silva Pocytė, Dr Vasilijus Safronovas, and Dr Marius Ščavinskas are members of the Editorial Team.
